Seeking flexibility in offices
“
Offices are shifting from fixed desks to flexible teams — people regroup by project, not by seating chart. ”
The way desks and workspaces were designed even a few years ago aren’t working for today’s needs. The shift from one-to-one desking to unassigned desks requires a growing emphasis on flexibility, efficiency, and adapting to evolving and diverse workstyles.
Key challenge / problem definition
Most desk systems are still built like they're permanent — bolted feet, fixed tabletops, accessories sold separately and rarely compatible.
Some newer systems do meet the flexibility modern offices need, but there's still a clear gap: in the market: most of them are doing whole desks for 3-5 different sizes, yet ordering and setting everything can be a big process and takes lot of efforts. When people are offices are looking for furniture， they are looking for something that sets up easily, the last thing they will prefer is to wait for months to get things settled.
